Loop rounds
Trades nobody could make one-on-one.
How a loop works
Say mossy has a spare Lobster and wants a Moose. quarterqueen has a Moose and wants a Lighthouse. pdxhunter has a Lighthouse and wants a Lobster. No two of them can swap directly, but around the circle everyone can: mossy mails to pdxhunter, pdxhunter to quarterqueen, and quarterqueen to mossy.
- Each month the Grand Loop is open for a week, and now and then there's a quick round too. Pick up to 5 spares, rank the prints you'd take for each, and choose how many you'll trade (1 to 3).
- When it closes, the solver moves as many prints as it can. Grand loops can link up to 12 collectors, so people with rare wants still find a way round; quick rounds keep loops to 3 or 4. You're never in more loops than you chose.
- Everyone in a loop confirms within 72 hours. If anyone drops out, that loop is off, and everyone else in it gets a second chance at a new loop, with 48 hours to confirm.
- Confirmed loops become normal trades: addresses, “shipped”, “received” and feedback. Prints going to the same person go in one envelope.
Free to enter, and open to Trusted traders (10+ good trades), since you ship to someone who isn't shipping to you. MiniPrintPal+ members enter up to 25 spares, trade up to 10, and get first pick when two loops compete for the same print.
The next round opens on the 1st of the month.
